Researchers have been able to train people with dementia to remember things.
What's been found has got practical implications for anyone (me included) who has ever grumbled through the house looking for the wallet or car keys.
But more so for people with dementia and their families because it's reduced the frustration that can come for both sufferers and carers.
The research also found we're often not aware that we're losing our memory (and our families don't recognise it either). ABC Riverland Today, spoke with Dr Chris Materne, Flinders Research Associate
